Dendritic Cell (DC)
Dendritic Cell are key immune cell involved in initiating and regulating immune responses.
They detect and capture foreign substances, particularly cancer cells, then process and present their antigens to other immune cell.
After antigen processing, Dendritic Cell migrate to the lymph nodes, where they activate adaptive immune responses.
Dendritic Cell serve as a bridge between:
- Innate immunity
- Adaptive immunity
They play a critical role in coordinating immune responses against infections and cancer.
Recent research has increasingly focused on immunotherapy, as it is considered an effective and safe approach that can be combined with conventional treatments.
